Women of the Club meet the third Saturday of each month at 1030 AM, from September to November, from January to March, and in May.

Hosted by the Icelandic Hekla Club, Icelandic classes delivered through fun exercises, games, role-playing and songs

Leifur Eirickson Day

Our October dinner celebrates the legacy of Leif Eriksson, part of festivities hosted by the Norwegian Lutheran Memorial Church of Minneapolis, better known as Mindekirken

Christmas Festivities

Co-hosted by the Association and the Icelandic Hekla Club, families enjoy the Jólabarnaball and Icelandic Christmas Service in December

Thorrablot

The Þorrablót in February is a banquet featuring traditional Icelandic food known as Þorramatur, with music, a program, and fellowship

Samkoma

An elegant dinner in the spring, hosted by the Icelandic Hekla Club, and focussed on fundraising for charitable causes

Icelandic Independence Day Picnic

Co-hosted by the Association and the Icelandic Hekla Club, the June Picnic celebrates Icelandic National Independence Day
