We encouraged all to dress in traditional Icelandic costume
Samkoma tickets were $30.00 per person

Raffle Information: The Hekla Club raffle drawing for two round-trip tickets* from Minneapolis/St. Paul to Reykjavik, Iceland was made possible by a generous donation by Icelandair. Raffle tickets were $5 each – and were available at the Samkoma. *All applicable airport taxes and other official charges were payable by the winner prior to ticketing
Since the Icelandic Hekla Club was founded in 1925, its mission has been to promote Icelandic culture, to educate about Iceland, and to support financially scholarships and other worthwhile projects. The proceeds of the 2014 raffle went to the Val Bjornson Scholarship fund, which Hekla Club has supported since the Fund’s inception.
