Explorer’s Club members David Collette and Johann Sigurdson, team leaders for Fara Heim research and explorers group, are on the trail of a provocative possibility: Vikings may have sailed beyond L’Anse aux Meadows—across Hudson Bay and into the heart of North America. Using modern technology, Indigenous oral histories, and clues left by early Hudson Bay trappers, the team investigates artifacts and follow the path of their Viking ancestors. Their eight-episode documentary premiered on Super Channel in January. Join us for highlights, discoveries, and what still remains unsolved.
