INLNA Reads: Nordic Noir

It’s dark and cold in Iceland in November: the perfect time to celebrate Nordic Noir. Nordic Noir is a genre of crime and detective literature from Scandinavian authors offering a distinctive blend of mystery and social critique. The sparse, bleak and cold settings are an integral part of the novels, setting the mood, so it is very fitting to read as winter descends upon us. We will join in spirit with the Iceland Noir Festival being held in Reykjavik, November 15 -18th.

INLNA Reads the novel “I Remember You” by one of the founders of the Iceland Noir Festival, Yrsa Sigurðardóttir. Her novel I Remember You won the 2011 Icelandic Crime Fiction Award. INLNA Reads invites you to feel the goosebumps rising while reading this masterful thriller. Join us for a discussion of the book and Nordic Noir on:
